Meeting called to order 10:26am

  1. Minutes
    • Minutes from 9.17.08 meeting approved
  2. Announcements and Comments
    • Tim Born didn’t have any comments. The times for meetings will be 10:30am on the dates (11.19 and 12.17) agreed to at the first meeting of the semester and held in the Science and Tech I Room 103 conference room.
    • Assad reported that there was a conversation going about the EVPP 355 and BIOL 355 crosslist. Since the meeting, that has been resolved and the forms were submitted to the Registrar’s Office on 10.15.
    • The Graduate Council met later in the day. Everything that was brought forward passed including the new Chemistry Ph.D. program.

      • BIOL 509 and 510 [Tabled]More time was given so that Bioinformatics could have a chance to look at the revisions to the proposal and make certain there is no overlap between its existing course and this one. Will be brought up at the next meeting.
