STEM Solar Course – Spring 2016

In this 2-­credit course students will experience a hands-­on approach to learning, incorporate design thinking principles, and consider real-­world implica9ons and applications for Solar power in research and development. This course will consist of face‐to­‐face meetings, webinars, and a collaborative project. Material for the course will be provided by the instructors. Course capped at 20 students.

Goals for this course include:
1. Learn more about Solar and its STEM applications.
2. Stimulate creativity in yourself and others.
3. Incorporate design thinking into your analysis.
4. Learn how to work in teams to build innovative products and solutions.

This new course in Spring 2016 will meet on Tuesdays from 4:30-­‐6:20pm in EXPL4208.
