STEM Accelerator seeks FOCUS Counselors

We are currently looking to hire counselors for the 2018 FOCUS camp!

FOCUS (Females of Color and those Underrepresented in STEM) camp is a one-week camp for middle school girls coordinated by the George Mason University STEM Accelerator Faculty in partnership with the community organization Girls Inspired and Ready to Lead, Inc. (GIRL).  The camp is presented in a fun, hands-on, intellectually stimulating format designed to elevate their interests again with each day focused on a different “letter” of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics).
This summer’s FOCUS Camp will be held  July 9-13, 2018.  If you are interested in being a counselor, please complete the application here.
Please email Kelly Knight (kknight6@gmu.edu) if you have any questions.
