Internship Opportunity @the Population Division of the U.S. Census Bureau
The Population Division of the U.S. Census Bureau is hiring several paid geospatial interns for work during the current school year and this summer. Specialization in one or more of the following skills would be great: GIS, remote sensing/satellite imagery analysis, programming/scripting, population geography, curriculum development, web mapping, and database administration.
The interns’ work will be domestic or internationally-focused. We have several exciting new and ongoing projects that will provide excellent experience working for the federal government and gaining practical skills. If interested, please read the requirements in the announcement closely. At a minimum, all applicants must be 1) U.S. citizens, 2) active students with at least a 3.0 GPA, and 3) have completed at least 4 years of higher education.
