Position Open for Term Faculty in Organic Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at George Mason University, within the College of Science (COS), invites applications from outstanding candidates for a term faculty position in organic chemistry beginning Fall 2019.

Primary teaching duties will include undergraduate and graduate level courses in organic chemistry. In addition, the faculty member should be able to teach physical organic chemistry, polymer chemistry, spectroscopy, and undergraduate laboratory courses. The course load for non-tenure track faculty is four courses per semester.

The successful candidate will also perform standard departmental service activities, mentor students, and will be expected to establish collaborative relationships with Departmental faculty as well as with other groups within the University.
