Harold Walbert is a PhD student in the Computational Social Science department at George Mason University. Harold’s research focuses on using empirical data, agent based modeling, and network analysis to understand complex social phenomena including: international conflict, food deserts/food accessibility, voting and election behavior, the dynamics of social insurance programs, & illicit black markets on the deep web.
Harold holds a Bachelors in Economics from the University of West Georgia and a Masters in Applied Economics from Johns Hopkins University where he focused on public finance and econometrics. He is currently a Senior Associate in the Analytics group at PwC.
