The Computational and Data Sciences undergraduate team of Mr. Nawaf Al-Dhelaan (left), Ms. Saman Shahid (center),and Mr. Daniel Spindel (right) was awarded 2nd place for their poster “IMPLICATION Project: Literature-Based Knowledge Discovery in Medicine–Causation Chains Enabling Preventative Interventions” developed under the guidance of Dr. Joseph Marr.
Mr. Nima Namazi, 2015-16 OSCAR awardee working with Professor Estela Blaisten-Barojas, received the Dean’s Undergraduate Award recognition for his poster “Dynamic Modeling and Simulation of Solvated Copolymers.”
Computational Social Science is the interdisciplinary science of complex social systems and their investigation through computational modeling and related techniques.
