Center
Clean Water and Sustainable Technologies
The Center for Clean Water and Sustainable Technologies (CCWST) is based on the theme that there is a global crisis in clean water for sustainability. The primary goal of the center is to find ways to obtain clean water through a process of measurement, characterization, and mitigation method developments. In addition, the center will have an education component to train future scientists and a public outreach effort through professional and public media.

It is heavily used by students and faculty for graduate research and for funded research grants. The leading users come from the departments of Molecular and Microbiology, Environmental Science and Policy, and Chemistry/Biochemistry.
