Welcome to Graduate Life at COS
As a student in the College of Science you will be positioned to benefit from internships, cooperative work experience, and other personalized training options that will enhance your education and potential.
We’re Here to Help
The Graduate Admissions Office can help answer questions on applications, housing, and tuition, and even child care.
Child Care
We recognize that graduate students are often older than undergrads with jobs and families. George Mason University’s Child Development Center is a special learning place for “future” Mason students aged 2-5 whose parents are students, faculty, or staff.
Graduate Housing Now Available
Starting a graduate program in a new city is both exciting and stressful. Our new graduate student housing options can help alleviate the stress of finding a convenient place to live.
Graduate Student Travel Funds
The College of Science realizes the importance of professional meetings, conferences, workshops and other activities that contribute to your development as a professional scientist. In many cases, these expenses are factored into the grants that support your advisor's research. In others, your department may have funds to help out. Imporantly, the Office of the Provost, provides the Graduate Student Travel Fund (GSTF)
