1. The Council minutes of 4 March 2008 were approved with amendments.
2. The Council discussed various aspects of College reorganization specifically in the area of the Earth Sciences and made changes to a memo to the Dean on the creation of COS Councils and specifically a Council of the Geosciences. Ed Schnieder provided several items on Climate Dynamics including continuing internal discussion of an MS program in that field and that Climate 101 will be taught fall 2008 as a general education course.
